"I was dropped for using my insurance. The office was notified, but they did not call. Supposedly, it was emailed to me. Like a good neighbor... I think not. Being in a lapse of insurance because I was not aware that I was dropped my insurance tripled in price with other carriers. The office is useless. Might as well go with GEICO because the intimacy State Fram claim to have is just not true; it's not there. And just for a little context, I had an amazing driving record. So did my husband. We had $100 deductibles for both our full coverage vehicles. We own a home, so our coverages were 100/300. Our monthly payments were $127 a month. We were dropped because we had an amazing deal that we qualified for. Never missed a payment. Supposedly, there was accident forgiveness...that was not extended to us. So we were dropped for claims where my husband and I, unfortunately, were in an accident each and used roadside services once. My husband did not have his car repair. The other driver in my accident did not need repairs. Neither accident sustained injuries. The underwriter decision is one thing but "belonging to an agency," and supposedly they were notified of us being dropped we were never called. I now had to drop down to liability only and increase our deductible to $1000 just to be able to afford our $386 monthly payment. It's the gravity of their decision to drop us that makes insurance in general a scam. So go with someone else who doesn't claim to be a good neighbor."
